River Associates Investments, a Chattanooga, Tenn.-based lower-mid-market buyout shop, has closed its sixth fund, River VI LP, having attracted $222 million in commitments, making the fund the largest the firm has raised so far and twice the size of its predecessor. The final close came in above the $200 million target.
