Grant Thornton has appointed Ian Paterson as partner within its transaction support team. Joining the firm from Arthur Andersen, Paterson’s new role will focus on mid-market transactions for private equity and corporate clients. Prior to Andersen Paterson spent 14 years with KPMG, initially in audit, but latterly in corporate recovery and corporate finance.
